Mutual Housing at The Highlands
Located in the McClellan Redevelopment area of North Highlands, Mutual Housing at the Highlands is in the final stages of construction. Move-in is scheduled for fall of 2011. Designed with environmentally friendly and sustainable features, the entire community will obtain GreenPoint-rated certification from Build It Green.
Affordable Housing for Families and Individuals
Townhomes: Two-story townhomes, each with three bedrooms, three baths, and approximately 1,800 square feet, with an inviting entrance off the sidewalk and a two-car garage in the back. Affordable rent of $868.
Walk-up Studios: Roomy studio apartments located above the townhome garages. Affordable rent of $485.

Permanent Supportive Housing
Housing reserved for homeless individuals is being made specifically available to those who can benefit from the particular supportive services to be provided at Mutual Housing at the Highlands. Referrals will be made through the Sacramento Continuum of Care agencies. Homeless individuals looking for housing and other services should work with services programs in the community. Those in need of emergency shelter or other services should contact the County information line at 211.

New Harmony in the City of Davis
Our New Harmony community in Davis will offer 69 new one, two, and three-bedroom apartments to local residents and Mutual Housing’s first foray into creating stable housing outside of Sacramento County. New Harmony also will be one of Mutual Housing’s first certified green developments, meeting certification standards of the Build It Green program. Construction is estimated to begin in fall 2011.
